Christingle Song

The Christingle song below, to the tune of Jingle Bells, was written by one of our members and is shared here for others to use if they so wish for not for profit occasions.

Christingle Song (Tune: Jingle Bells)

Chorus:
Christingle, christingle, symbol of Godís love;
O what joy that Jesus came as sent from heaven above
(repeat)

1. Orange at the core, is the world on which we live;
Jesus here was born, Godís greatest gift to give.
Sticks with food to hold, four seasons they display;
Stories Jesus lived and told, a guide for us today.

2. Ribbon bright and red, is the reason why we fuss;
Blood that Jesus shed, to show Godís love for us.
Candle lights the way, and takes away our fear;
As Jesus came to teach and say, heís always with us here.
