LOCAL (CHESHAM AREA)

The church is an active member of Churches Together for Chesham (incorporating the Chesham Local Ecumenical Partnership) through which many of the town's churches work together closely and profitably. These activities include:

  • Backpackers, a Christian adventure for young people which happened for a week every summer, with the last happening in 2019.It hasn't restarted after the pandemic, but may yet or in another form.
  • Our church, like several others in Chesham, is a referral partner for Chiltern Foodbank
  • Chesham Community Fridge Making good surplus food available free of charge to avoid scandalous waste. All are invited to come and collect food that would otherwise be dumped.

Information about Chesham can be found on Wikipedia which also includes links to several of the other churches in Chesham.
